ANNA MARIA Sing “Ave Maria” in Ukraine’s Largest Organ Hall (Video)

Ukraine’s largest organ hall, two voices and the greatest of prayers. On the eve of the New Year and Christmas, the sisters Anna and Maria decided to sum up 2019 in an original way and wish their fans a happy New Year 2020.
“Ave Maria” has been sung by many artists, from Andrea Bocelli to Celine Dion. The Anna Maria sisters decided to create their own version of this world-famous prayer.

“Ave Maria” is a demanding piece to perform, requiring subtle musicality, perfect command of the voice and, of course, sincerity in the delivery. The singers used interweaving voices and a range of musical techniques. And Anna Maria recorded the video for the piece in a unique location — Ukraine’s largest organ hall, located in Kharkiv.
Here is what ANNA MARIA wrote on their social media: “This year was incredibly hard. We went through so many trials… Sometimes we wonder where we found the strength to get through them. But if God sends them to us, it means He will also give us enough strength to overcome them. And still, we want to say, in letters this big, THANK YOU for this year! Thank you for everything it brought. We came to understand one thing: only Love will win! Even the answer to cruel words and cruel deeds must be love alone. It would seem that after a million hardships you could shut yourself off, hold a grudge, lock your heart behind a thousand locks and become impenetrable… But no. Faith in people lives on in us. We love people. And we wish everyone, each and every one without exception, well! And right now this prayer is sounding in our hearts, with hope for the future.”
