Story.

When the twins sing in unison, it is not two singers. It is one voice in stereo.
ANNA MARIA is a Ukrainian duo of twin sisters Anna and Maria — singers, musicians and songwriters. Pop, soul and funk, live sound only — and songs in twenty languages of the world.
Finalists of Ukraine's national selection for Eurovision 2019, winners of the "Chance" TV project and contestants of "The Voice of Ukraine". They have performed for thousands of people across Ukraine, Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Azerbaijan, China, Poland, Israel and beyond — and were guests of Laima Vaikule's international Rendez Vous festival in Jūrmala.
Their video "Light Up", starring the undefeated Ukrainian boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk, won three international awards — Prague Music Awards 2022 ("Best European Music Video"), California Music Video & Film Awards 2023 ("Best Inspirational Music Video") and the Istanbul Film Festival.
The duo's discography includes the album "RIZNI" (13 songs, most written by the sisters) and a dozen singles: "Same Ti" (8 weeks in the Chervona Ruta chart), "Buty Shchaslyvymy", "Light Up", "Dolonyamy", "My Road", "Vse Bude Dobre" (Top 100 Radio Hits Ukraine), "Tvoie Misto", "Trymai Mene" (with pianist Yevhen Khmara), "My Skhovaiemos" (the soundtrack of the series "Kyiv Day and Night"), "Znaiesh Ty" (with Miloš Jelić) and more.
In March 2024 the European musical "Black X White" premiered at ARENA RIGA with Anna and Maria in the leading roles: the plot tells the story of two twin sisters, and the show features 15 brand-new original songs performed with a symphonic-rock orchestra. The duo also tours Europe with the PRIME orchestra, playing concert runs across Germany and Sweden.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war the sisters have given more than 100 concerts across Ukraine — from frontline towns to hospitals — constantly supporting the military, wounded defenders, displaced families and children, and performing at charity events across Europe.
Both sisters hold two university degrees — the Academy of Variety and Circus Arts (vocal) and the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy. They play piano and guitar, and are currently learning drums. They gave their first solo concert at 16 in their home city of Simferopol, donating the proceeds to the restoration of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
“We love watching music change people's mood. Music is a force that can influence — at the very least, the state of the soul, people's minds and how they treat each other. That's why live shows are what we love most. They are always different. And it's a true addiction.”
