ANNA MARIA Performed at the “Liudyna Roku” (“Person of the Year”) Awards

On May 22, the National Opera hosted the 25th anniversary ceremony of the nationwide “Liudyna Roku” (“Person of the Year”) awards. The ANNA MARIA duo were guests of honour and performed at the awards for the first time, singing their song “Znaiesh Ty” (“You Know”) for the nominees and winners. The single “Znaiesh Ty” was released a couple of years ago together with an original video. The song was written by the sisters Anna and Maria themselves. The sound producer was Milos Jelic (keyboardist and arranger of the band Okean Elzy). Anna Maria Anna Maria and Kateryna Kukhar ANNA MARIA the ANNA MARIA duo and Vitali Klitschko ANNA MARIA appeared on stage in dazzling dresses by Ukrainian designer Dafna May. The staging was built on light and musical accents: the sisters underscored the rhythm of the song with claps and finger snaps. The duo's emotional performance was complemented by striking visuals created exclusively for this performance. For 25 years, the programme's walk of fame and recognition has ceremonially honoured outstanding state and public figures, diplomats, local government leaders, representatives of culture, science and sport, journalists, entrepreneurs, financiers, philanthropists, as well as prominent figures from countries around the world. Over the programme's history, more than 420 winners have held the title of “Liudyna Roku”, including Bohdan Stupka, Oleh Blokhin, Oleksandr Usyk, Andriy Shevchenko, Yuriy Rybchynskyi, Serhiy Bubka, Leonid Kadeniuk and others.
