ANNA MARIA Share the Stage with the Legendary Secret Service

While on tour in Riga, Latvia, the Ukrainian twin-sister duo ANNA MARIA appeared at the same concert as eighties stars – the Swedish band Secret Service, famous for their hit “Flash In The Night”. The concert took place at Riga’s largest concert venue, Mezaparks Arena Riga. After the show, ANNA MARIA got the chance to talk with the band’s musicians. The sisters also posted a photo on social media with Secret Service, holding the flag of Ukraine. The duo ANNA MARIA and the band Secret Service (Riga, Latvia) “It means so much to us that in Latvia we felt the support not only of the audience, but also of superstars like Secret Service. It’s one of the bands whose music we grew up on. When we were chatting backstage, the band’s lead singer said: ‘We think about Ukraine every day. We hope that soon we will be able to meet you on the same stage in Kyiv,’” the singers said. The sisters plan to put the Ukrainian flag, signed by Secret Service and several other legendary artists, up for auction to help child artists from Ukraine’s conflict hotspots. This is not the first time Anna and Maria have performed in Latvia. The sisters previously appeared in Jurmala at Laima Vaikule’s festival (Laima Rendezvous). And in January 2023, they gave a charity tour for displaced Ukrainian families in Latvia.
