On March 16, 2016, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv, represented by Afgan Salmanov, held a grand celebration for the people of Kharkiv in honor of the Azerbaijani national holiday of Novruz Bayram. The event took place in the great hall of the Lysenko Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theatre. A wonderful gift for the honorees and everyone in attendance was the performance by the duo ANNA MARIA, Honored Artists of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The charming singers' songs left no one in the hall unmoved. The concert also featured Parvin Latifov, a soloist of Azerbaijani State Television, who came to Ukraine for the first time.
