A Music Video by Ukrainian Duo ANNA MARIA Moved Even Maestro Alterisio Paoletti! (VIDEO)

The duo ANNA MARIA don't release music videos very often, but every piece of work gets a special approach.
For the song “Trymai Mene” (“Hold Me”), the sisters decided to shoot a genuine short film with a deep message about life, love, and fate, forgoing the standard artist close-ups and rapid-fire cuts.
Somehow the video found its way to the renowned pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor Alterisio Paoletti, under whose direction Anna and Maria performed with the San Remo orchestra in Italy several years ago.
“I don't understand a word of Ukrainian, but this song moved me to tears,” Alterisio Paoletti wrote in a letter to ANNA MARIA.
“A few years ago we performed in Italy. We were lucky enough to sing there with an orchestra conducted by maestro Alterisio Paoletti. And given that we have Italian blood, it was a real thrill to play with professionals like that.
And today we received a letter from that conductor. He saw our video for “Trymai Mene” and wrote that the song moved him to tears, even though he didn't understand a single word of Ukrainian. That's the power of the language of Music — the one everyone understands!” the sisters share.
“Sometimes it seems to us that we plan the events of our lives. But at a certain point comes the understanding that the Universe has a design. Every meeting and every event, even the most minor, was planned by the Universe right down to the circumstances that led to it. True love doesn't need to be searched for. It will find you itself. Wherever you are and whatever you do, life will turn in exactly the direction that is meant to be. Of course, grown-up, experienced people find it hard to believe that you can live your whole life staying true to your first love,” Anna and Maria say, “but we believe it, and you will feel it in our video... This song was born of great love — the same way children are born. It was written in literally about ten minutes, with the music arriving at once, together with the lyrics. Afterwards, we didn't change or rework a single note or a single word of the song. Everything remained exactly as it first appeared. It felt as though some portal had opened and passed this idea through.”
“Trymai Mene” is a single from ANNA MARIA's first album, due for release at the end of November.
ANNA MARIA are twin sisters with remarkable voices and incredible energy.
Sincere, vivid, and crazy in the best sense — exactly what artists of the new generation should be!
