The ANNA MARIA Sisters Have Released Their First Full-Length Album

The album received a telling title — “RAZNYE” (“Different”). “RAZNYE” — because on one record we tried to bring together songs that differ in style, mood, and sound. Almost all the songs were written by us; they carry our thoughts, and there are exactly thirteen of them on the album — our lucky number! We know the usual tendency is to fill an album with songs kept in a single style. But you'll agree that an album is, above all, an expression of yourself — and it's only human to be DIFFERENT. That's how our songs turned out: philosophical, danceable, and lyrical. We're loving this freedom and the chance to do things the way we like. “RAZNYE” — because even though we're twins, we are nevertheless different. Before this, ANNA MARIA had released the singles “Tvoie Misto” (“Your City”), “Tselovat Drugogo” (“Kissing Another”), “Ne Final” (“Not the Finale”), “5 Stars Hotel,” and “Trymai Mene” (“Hold Me”), but only now did the singers feel ready to release their first full album. “We didn't want to box ourselves in. For us, only one thing matters — that it's music, and that it comes from the heart,” say Anna and Maria.
