The Singers of ANNA MARIA Star as the Leads in the New European Musical "BLACK X WHITE"

On March 2, the grand stage of ARENA RIGA in Latvia hosted the dazzling premiere of the new European musical “Black X White”, starring the Ukrainian twin singers of the duo ANNA MARIA in the lead roles. The large-scale show features 15 entirely new original songs performed with a symphonic rock orchestra. In total, a team of more than 100 people worked on the project. The musical “Black X White” is strikingly original in concept and unlike any other. At the heart of this musical show is the story of two twin sisters living in a European city. The musical’s author, Volodymyr Bogatoff, says the production is dedicated to the challenges facing today’s youth, to the diversity of human characters, and to the search for meaning in life and one’s place in the wide world. ANNA MARIA shared their impressions on social media: “Singing in a musical was one of our dreams. And here we are, playing the lead roles in a new European musical. It’s incredible, modern, powerful music – accompanied by a full orchestra, no less. We were delighted to present this musical at the biggest arena in Latvia, Arena Riga, which has hosted Imagine Dragons, Tom Jones, 50 Cent, Bryan Adams, Depeche Mode…” The musical’s creators are planning tours across Europe and Southeast Asia.
