“The World Around Me”: ANNA MARIA Join a Charity Event in Kyiv

On September 15, the charity event “The World Around Me” took place in the very heart of Kyiv — on Maidan Nezalezhnosti (the Globus shopping center). The Ukrainian duo Anna and Maria ceremonially opened the event by performing the national anthem of Ukraine and delighted the guests with their songs. Together with the Ukrainian charitable foundation Dity Ditiam (“Children for Children”), which brought together children from all over the country, 77,000 hryvnias were raised. These funds will go toward equipping bomb shelters in children’s homes. Equipment will be purchased for the Berdychiv Special School and the Novoborivskyi children’s residential care home. Despite three air-raid alerts in a row, the concert flew by in a single breath. The event was also joined by Olha Sumska, the band Aviator, Kishe, Oleksandr Leshchenko, Artur Bosso, Sofiia Yehorova, Oleksandr Kryvoshapko, and DSIDE band.
