ANNA MARIA Perform for Ukrainian Defenders and Their Families
The ANNA MARIA sisters are known for their performances in support of Ukraine’s defenders. The singers regularly give concerts at rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and military units, performing for Ukraine’s heroes.
For several years in a row, ANNA MARIA have also performed on the occasion of Ukraine’s Day of Defenders and Defendresses.
On October 1, 2026, the duo performed in the city of Bahacheve for Ukrainian defenders and their families.
“It was a concert where we couldn’t hold back our tears.
As always, we sang from the bottom of our hearts, giving it everything we had and pouring all our emotions into every song.
And people felt it… They welcomed us with such warmth that the memory of that evening still warms our hearts and will continue to do so for a long time.
There was a genuine sense of unity. We felt a deep confidence that we could overcome anything and that everything would be all right for all of us. God willing!
The audience included our defenders, their families, and the families of heroes who are missing in action or who have been killed.
We are always ready to support events like these.
We were happy to share the stage with the band Kozak System,” the singers shared on their social media.
ANNA MARIA’s hit songs “Бути щасливими” (“Be Happy”) and “Я маю жити” (“I Must Live”) were met with particular warmth by the audience. Before performing the latter, the singers shared a deeply moving story about one of their performances at a military hospital.
